CP3-Origins PhD student Andrea Palessandro was awarded third place in the DDRN Essay Competition. The competition extends to all university students in Denmark, and is about communicating a piece of research relevant to one or more of the EU global challenges. Andrea wrote an essay on the quantum nature of gravity, which he explored in his latest research paper on gravitational absorption lines (research paper).
The 17 challenges (Sustainable Development Goals) are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to education, poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
The winning essays will be published on ddrn.dk in December.
